Hello! My name is Graham Atherton. I recently graduated from Boston University with my Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

While at BU, I concentrated on type design, editorial design, and motion graphics, taking courses specifically focused on those practices. I was particularly interested in working toward the design of my thesis book which I printed entirely in my own typefaces. You can also see those typefaces (Graham Grotesk and Praeterita) on this site.

I currently work at MIT Press where I design book covers. I also teach part-time at BU, instructing Juniors and Sophomores.
